Vegan Oyster Po-Boy

INGREDIENTS

Fried Oysters

  • 2-3 cups Oyster mushrooms (stems removed)

  • 2 cups all purpose flour

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp Nutritional yeast

  • 2 tbsp Nori flakes or powder (optional)

  • 1 cup Unsweetened plant based milk

Sauce

  • 1 cup Vegan mayonaise

  • 1/4 cup Spice brown mustard

  • 1 tsp Garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp Capers (+ 1 tsp of pickle liquid)

  • 1/2 tsp Prepared horseradish

  • 1 tsp Siracha (or hot sauce of choice)

Additional Ingredients

  • 1 package Hoagie rolls or sausage buns (I used Pretzilla sausage rolls)

  • 1-2 cups Mixed greens or lettuce
